Class: Reading
Third grade has a goal of 5 AR points for each of the nine weeks. Students should be reading for at least 15 minutes each night from the genre or text of their choice in order to meet or exceed this goal.
In addition to reading each night, students should be reviewing the vocabulary that goes along with the stories being read.

Students will learn various math strategies throughout the year. Homework is given almost nightly to reinforce these concepts. Please check their planner for the assigned homework each night.
Flash cards are a great way to review and practice multiplication and division facts.
